Hi Martin,

I have the auxillary burial registers for St Helen's, Witton but can't find a Martha anywhere. I have also looked through the buried in Cheshire fiche which I have and nothing there either.

Regards Gill

Greetings to all,
I am still desperately looking for the death of
Martha LITTLER (nee Moore) born Northwich 1856.

Last sighting of her was in the 1901 Census RG13/3342/22/35 Schedule 168 11,
Warrington Road, Northwich, Cheshire Martha LITTLER, head, widow, aged 43,
born Northwich, Cheshire.

John LITTLER, her husband died Northwich in 1883.

On the GRO Index there is a Death for a Martha LITTLER in 1910, aged 57 -
this is definitely NOT her because I obtained the actual death certificate
and it was the wrong person.
N.B. NONE of the Martha LITTLER deaths listed on Cheshire BMD are of my
Martha LITTLER.

I would be indebted to anyone who has access to the Witton Burial Registers
who would be willing to do a look-up for me?

Just to re-cap:- All I know is that she was born Martha MOORE in 1856, she
married John LITTLER 10th June 1878 at Davenham Parish Church.
They had 4 children - all born Northwich.
Her husband John LITTLER died 1883 at Northwich
Martha LITTLER'S last known sighting was on the 1901 census living at 11,
Warrington Road, Northwich. In relation to her death I don't think the
Davenham connection is relevant, excepting that she was married there. She
appeared to have no other Davenham attributes.

I don't know when she died; I presume she was buried in the Northwich area,
considering she was living in Northwich in 1901. They were a Church of
England family, her father; mother, brothers and sisters were all buried at
Witton.

Regards to you all,

Martin
