Hi All
I have hit a brick wall with a ggggrand mother Martha Bratt.Someone of this name married a John Baker in 1815 at Norton in the Moors,Staffs which I believe was the Gretna Green of its day. This could suggest that Martha was under age and there is a Martha on the IGI who was born at Middlewich in 1798.
I would be pleased to hear from anyone else researching this family name.
Regards
Dennis Baker
