The statistics on the Hulme and Newton families at Bowdon are enough to keep
you working for months

For the Hulme family we have 174 baptisms, 98 marriages and 227 burials the
full information would come to about 20 pages of printout including all the
relevant monumental inscriptions.

For the Newton family we have 56 baptisms, 85 marriages and 112 burials or
about 13 pages of printout.

This can all be yours please contact me direct on for
the relevant arrangements.

We do not have microfiche or any other form of copy of the records to offer
you but they have been microfilmed by the Mormon Church and they may be able
to sell you a copy of the nine microfilms. The films can also be seen at
Chester Archives or I have seen another version of microfilm at Manchester
City Library. Sale Library also holds some films and transcriptions in the
Local Studies Department.
