Hello listers

I am interested in the following connection to the Griffith-Jones family of
Aspendale Road, Tranmere and Toxteth Park, Beloe St..... Edward David
Griffith-Jones aka Edward John Griffiths married to Mary Ann Burgess in
1885, Toxteth.
This street is being pulled down soon.

LEA George, married Elizabeth Ann Griffith-Jones in 1912
WALKER John William Henry, married Margaret Louisa Griffith-Jones 1920
McCANN Peter John, married Sarah Pryce nee Griffith-Jones 1932
PRYCE ?????, married Sarah Griffith-Jones, first husband , before 1929
TURNER William John, married Mary Hazlehurst Griffith-Jones 1920
HAZLEHURST, unknown connection but someone may have lived in Bidston around
1950's. name is linked somewhere back in the 1830's around Middlesex to
Francis William Richards born 1836.
BOWEN, Margaret Ann, married Robert F. H, Griffith-Jones about 1907
WHEADON, Ellen, married David Griffith-Jones 1909

Lydia Griffith Jones possibly married after 1931
F Griffith Jones in Birkenhead, male, can't find anything for him, but son
of Edward David Griffith-Jones aka Edward Jones Griffiths.
George Griffith-Jones born about 1891-1892 in Liverpool but moved to
Birkenhead before 1894, another son of Edward David Griffith-Jones.

Someone married a policeman.
Someone may have been a money lender.

Both Edward David Griffith-Jones and his son David Griffith Jones committed
suicide, 1921 and 1929 respectively. Both gassed themselves.

The Griffith-Jones' lived in Toxteth and the father was David John
GRIFFITHS, BORN IN Mold c1834 and a railway Engineer.
he married Elizabeth Ann CHANCELLOR FROM Swindon in 1861 in Swindon.
Children included Amelia Jones Griffith ( aka Griffith-Jones) married a
CRABB, THEN John Augustine NELSON. She had five children to CRABB. She
lived at
1916 5 Leda Grove, Liverpool as Amelia Crabb, later became a widow, as
mentioned in her brothers will of 2 May 1916
1921 9 Stanley Terrace, Bridge Road, Mossley Hill Liverpool. as mention in
will of her brother Edward proved 19 August 1921


RICHARDS, Francis William who married Sarah Ann BURGESS, LIVED IN Beloe St
and Woodruff St in Liverpool , Toxteth Park. There are two couples in
Liverpool
with the same names, but mine came are from Middlesex and Norfolk. I can't
find this marriage although I have details of the other one which is not my
family. Francis was a Mariner, Labourer and a coal dealer at some point.
He died after 1891. they had about 7 children.
