Hello list
Can some kind soul tell me how big the area of Liskeard is?
I want to start looking for a marriage and birth dates of my ancestors that
according to the 1851 and 1881 census were born in Liskeard. Where do I
start?
The only information that I have to go on is the census data. If someone is
born in Liskeard, does it mean in Liskeard itself or the area around it? Is
there a film that covers Liskeard from 1790 to 1837?
I am looking for Susan ???? born 1791 in Liskeard who married ( no known
date) Edward Tucket In 1851 it is Tucket, 1881 it is Tuckett.
Their children:
Sarah Tucket born 1823 in Liskeard
Susan Tucket born 1827 in Liskeard
W H Tucket born 1831/1832 in Liskeard
That is all I know. Is it enough? Where do I start looking? Any suggestions?
