Hello All,

I'm a new subscriber to this list, having just found some of my
wifes ancestors were from Redruth. If anyone has connections to or
information on the following people I'd be thrilled to hear from you.

JOHN PEARCE and MARGARET HARRIS married at Redruth on 3 Feb 1793. They
had a son, STEPHEN HARRIS PEARCE who was baptised at Redruth on 13 Aug
1796. They also had a daughter, ALICE, and probably other children
as yet unknown to me.

STEPHEN HARRIS PEARCE married SARAH BOBBINGTON or BABBINGTON(?)...do
not know where or when. They had a son, JOHN HARRIS PEARCE, who was
born and baptised in 1829 at Walworth, Surrey. They also had a
daughter, MARY ANN PEARCE, c1845 who came to Australia where she
married in Melbourne in 1863 to a JOHN SINCLAIR McBEAN. The name
HARRIS was used as a middle name in further generations, so I
presume MARY ANN must have known her grandmother MARGARET (HARRIS)
and been very fond of her.

Any bells ringing out there ??
