Hi All, I am trying to help a friend. I have Rosanna Rushforth 14 b Kendal and her sister Hester 9 in an orphans home in Helsington 1881. I have also found a William Rushforth 8 in the workhouse 1881. (prob. brother?)I can't find Rosanna in 1891 or earlier in 1871. I have found a ref. to a Rosanna Rushforth marriage in Gateshead and I am awaiting confirmation.Hester and William are both b. Kendal too. Has any lister an interest in this name or if a lister could offer any advice I would be delighted to hear from them. Best regards.kevin, Co Cork,Ireland.
