I though all the Puritans left Britian.?.
Tradition and Custom are important in Genealogy. The Cornish for
example.have a naming tradition.so the given name is that of an
ancestor.especially the middle names mothers.nee.
I was raised eating curry.Why.? one of mothers ancestors was East
Indian. For years, I thought it funny that when I moved to texas.I could
eat texas style-mexican food,caliente[hot]
My grand father was listed as Dark Skinned on his Merchant Navy
registration papers.Well I have seen his picture, and he looks east
indian.
Calcutta area.
Grand father operated the duke of edinburg pub
in Weymouth.from 1935-1942,When he died in Weymouth.I was born in
Weymouth 1945.Mother who went to school in Weymouth married an
American,in 1944.She was olive complected.
George Tame Blatchford,Grandfather married a Maria Mullett in Jersey in
1842.She may have been related to the Mullett's that operate the ferry
service to the channel islands from Weymouth.
If you father was a mariner, chances are his father was.
If you family were Anglican chances are there ancestors were Anglican.

keep on-keeping on-never quit. Roger
