I'm not sure whether Bournemouth falls into the Dorset category, or Hampshire (as it used to be). However, I have a query about Bedford Beach in Southbourne, Bournemouth. Does anyone have any history on it? I know it was a privately owned beach, but would like to know a little bit more about the owner, Mr Bedford. Any information would be welcome.
