Hi Tony, thank you for that information, I have now found Pottery Buildings
on the 1896 Map. They were on North Moor Street, it ran along the North West
side of the Barracks, right at the very bottom of High Street East. It joined
onto Barrack Street, which is still marked on the current street map. The
Barracks were built on part of the Town Moor in 1794-95, so if North Moor
Street predated the barracks then Pottery Buildings would have been on the
edge of the Moor. Pottery Bank ran behind the Buildings down to the River.
