Dear All,

I've just found a connection between my 3 x gt.aunt Isabella Mason and John
Cornet. Isabella Mason was born about 1847 in Penrith, Cumberland. The
family moved back to Berwick and then on to Sunderland. Isabella's father
was John Mason and mother Jane nee Cockburn. John Mason was a railway plate
layer.

In 1871 Isabella Mason is now Isabella Heaton, a widow, aged 25 with her
sister Barbara Mason, and they're living at 21 Grafton Street,
Bishopwearmouth, RG10/5001, Folio 76A, page 42, schedule 204.

In 1881, Isabella is now Isabella Cornet, wife of John Cornet, 37, Engine
Fitter, born Northumberland. With them is a niece Agnes Miller aged 13,
born Newcastle, living at 4 West Street, Bishopwearmouth, RG11/4993, Folio
56, Page 38.

I would be delighted to hear from anyone with the same interests, and also
where Isabella's marriages took place. I can't find them on IGI or freebmd.
