I think you are probably correct in thinking that it may be Garth as there
is a place called Assembly Garth up near the Barracks on the 1862 map.
Just need to find the Plumber's now :-)

David Hodgson-Brown's ancestors both quote the above address on their
marriage certificate.Haven't checked this out on a map, but suspect it is
