Hi All
I have a tentative link to George & Alfred Black of theatrical fame on my husbands tree and wondered if any one has any links on the theatre etc
>From what I have found the father of George and Alfred was George born about 1890 in Birmingham - checking through census etc his father was George Black born about 1855 -56 in Newcastle
If that George born in Newcastle is the correct one he was the brother of my husbands Great Great Grandfather Joseph John Black - I have done that line as its direct but had not looked into the branches
Its only recently after speaking to a 75 year old Aunt of my husbands who was born in Sunderland that she told me there was a connection but she did not know how the family were connected
Any idea would be well received
