Hello from sunny Darlington!
I too am researching the Metcalf's - my branch coming from the Masham area
(Fearby/North Stainley/Ilton cum Pott) - does that ring any bells with you?
John Metcalf(e) b 1868 m Maria Myers (my great grandparents)
son of John Metcalfe b 1939 m Elizabeth Dickinson
son of Thomas Metcalf B 1802 m Ann Wright
son of Thomas Metcalf b 1764 m Margaret Hauxwell
Happy searching
Sharon Davidson

Hi Sharon,
I have an Elizabeth Metcalf, but unfortunately, I do not know anymore about
this person other than she married Ellwood Day possibly around 1823 in
Duryahm.
Wish I had more but at this stage she is just one of many in my database who
is just a name right name.
cheers, Ann
