I am tracking various Trowsdale families through the ages and have a wedding of a Thomas Trowsdale who married Jane Fletcher in 1858 in Seaham Harbour. The grooms father was a Thomas Trowsdale ( a labourer) , the father of the bride John Fletcher (a mariner). I have singularly failed to find any family connections to this couple . Is anyone else researching these names. Witnesses at the wedding were Mary Ann Trowsdale and a William Robert Bilton.
Is there an index for 1851 which might locate their whereabouts before the wedding. At the time of the wedding they were stated to be living in Seaham Harbour (groom) and Sunderland (bride). I am keen to find where their families were from - any info would be much appreciated.
