Hi Libby,

Isaac Cook is listed as a Livery Stable Keeper in Bourne Street in 1851.

In the 1851 census index are the following.
George Danby 17 born Hull living at Seaton HO107/2365 0233v
Thomas Danby 13 born Hull living at Sigglesthorne HO107/2365 0226v
Richard Danby 14 born Hull living at Seaton HO107/2365 0235r

If the ages tie in with Matthew's children then it might be that the
children went to live at Seaton which is a small village in Sigglesthorne
parish near Hornsea.
At Sigglesthorne there is a gravestone for a Betty Danby, the wife of
Matthew Danby, who died June 20th 1839 aged 38. Also mentioned are seven
children who died in infancy. The interesting part is that the parish
register entry for this burial gives the information that Betty Danby's
residence was East Sculcoates in Hull.

There is a family of Danby still in the area if you can connect this
information to your researches.

Peter B
