22 and 23 September
11 am to 5 pm - BATTLE OF FLORE HEATH 1459, a weekend festival of
Medieval history and heritage, focusing on the history of the battle of
Blore Heath. Re-enactment, Living History and Medieval 'Fayre', Blore
Heath Farm, off the A53 two miles east of Market Drayton, Staffs.
Displays of archery, artillery, hand to hand combat culminating in a
full scale re-enactment of the battle, living history and crafts,
medieval puppets show and music, childrens activity tent, real ale bar,
guided tour of the battlefield.
