Dear Doug, sorry for the delay in replying but I've been away for the last
couple of weeks. Please can you forward the following to Katie.

Dear Katie, I'm forwarding this message to my sister, Barbara, as her info
on the SHIPP family is far more up to date and extensive than mine. I'm
sure that she'll be happy to share it with you and hopefully, be able to
help identify your Guilbery ? Guilbert.
Perhaps I should say 'welcome to the family'? Linda Coppard (Shipp)
PS - it might help her to know when your father, and his sibling's were
born.
Barbara, over to you, please keep me in the loop.

Could Guilbery be Gilbert?

Free BMD has a Gilbert SHIPP born Jun qtr 1895, Chipping S Reg. Dist. He's
on the 1901 census living at Yate, aged 6, born Yate, Glos. There are
several SHIPP families in Yate on the 1901 census.
