Hi Kath
On Saturday you asked about the marriage of Samuel COOK & Mary KITCHINS
(what an appropriate pair of surnames!).
The Banns registers for Hawkesbury start in 1754 – there may be earlier
ones but I don’t have them. There is no entry in the marriage register
for them in 1746/7.
The Phillimore’s entry in the Horton Register is the same as you gave me
but it is apparent that the marriage took place on 22 February 1746/7
not 1746. .It is the last entry in the first Volume.
For the record it says:
Samuel COOK b. p. Hawksbury & Mary KITCHINS s, this p.
Sorry I couldn’t help you further.
Cheers
Carole
