Thanks Carole for the TEAGLE reference.
A search with Badminton as birthplace also yields some relevant names: PERKS, TOGHILL, BAKER, BLEAKEN, CREW, ANDREWS, KEEN, TAVENDER, CULLEN.

Subject: [HWK] Royal Naval Seamen's Service
Hi All,
You probably know this already, but just in case.....
Whilst looking at the National Archives website HYPERLINK
"http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/"http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk
I spotted that they have a searchable index of Royal Naval Seamen
1853-1923.
A search on Hawkesbury as place of birth came up with the following
surnames (there is more information but I'm too lazy to type it all
out!)
SELWOOD, LARGE, STINCHCOMBE, MUNDY, COOMBS, FARMILOE, DEACON, SIMMONS.
PAINTER, ISAACS, HOPKINS, BURGE, DAY.
A Didmarton search came up with TEAGLE & TAVENDER and there were 5
TOGHILLS!
I thought this could be useful if you've lost someone from a census, who
reappears later. You can download the service record for £3.50 (Hope
this doesn't count as advertising!)
Cheers
Carole
