I think Ruth and Diana must be one of the same the death of one and the
burial of the other only days apart.
Thomas STINCHCOMBE b1818 d1900 at Yate Court
he is the father of Fitz-Osbert STINCHCOMBE mentioned in the Diary I
uploaded last week, a number of the children and Thomas are mentioned in it.
Thomas Married Martha Susanna MAY Mar 1840 in Bristol
children
Jane Elizabeth 1840 died age 6
John Bence 1840 lived at Damery near brother Fitz-Osbert died within a day
of hearing about the death of his brother Fitz-Osbert 1919
Martha Hannah 1845 died 1912 unmarried lived with brother Edward at Brimsham
farm Yate 1901
Daniel May 1846 emigrated to Peabody Kansas was a gold miner in Colorado may
have gold mined in Australia before returning his nephew in Peabody where he
died
Thomas 1848 listed on 1891 census but connot find him after that date.
Fredrick Rufus 1849 emigrated to Michigan 1869 returns to Horton 1874
marries my great aunt Emma Beard died 5 mar 1921 Alune Kansas
Elizabeth 1850 thought to have emigrated with Daniel and Rufus
Henry 1852 listed 1891 census was believed to be living at Ivy cottage
Wickwar 1916
Fitz-Osbert 1854 married Amy ISAAC of Wickwar who's Diary I uploaded
recently lived at Manor farm upper Wick Gloucestershire where he died 19 Nov
1919
Sarah Jane 1859 brother Edward wrote that Sarah suffered from Diabeties and
dropsy and was in much pain and was treated badly by George
Edward May 1862 farmed at Brimsham Farm Yate married Mary Josephine
PRITCHARD 1901
Joseph 1867 emigrated to Kansas with brother Fredrick Rufus lived at Gale
Marion County married Frances?? had son Willie died 1921 Michigan USA
