I certainly have a LOT of information on this BEDDIS family and am also in touch with another descendent of ELIZABETH BEDDIS & JOSEPH EVERETTS.

You are correct in your assumption about Elizabeth's line back to Seth Beddis and Sarah Kear.

I will reply to you directly with more information, just wanted to post this to the list in case anyone else out there has an interest.

I am interested in the Beddis family from Blakeney / Awre area. I see from a previous message last June that Angela Gibson is also looking at the same name and I would like to get in touch.

The family she mentions are my husbands ancestors.Elizabeth Beddis married Joseph Everetts c1855. Her father was Thomas Beddis b 1788 and his wife was Elizabeth Kear. I think Thomas was the son of Seth Beddis and Sarah Keare but I have no evidence at present.

Has anyone any information on the large Beddis family in Awre. I am trying to piece together the descendants of William Beddoes b1673 including the branch of the family who moved to Vancouver in 1860's.
