I may be able to help with some info about Marsh's Bakery if it's the one that used to be in Forton Road opposite Old's grocery shop. It was set back quite a long way from the road, and I remember it because my Mum lived nearby as a small child (1920-ish). Will make some enquiries and look thro some paperwork and get in touch again asap.

Never heard of the boatyard tho.
