There are subscribers to this list with Knight connections. Perhaps
Arthur Egerton Knight figures in their family history.
In this evening's Portsmouth News is an article about this Pompey
footballer of the 1920s, having moved here in 1908. He also played for
England in the 1912 and 1920 summer Olympics. He is buried in a marked
grave in Highland Road Cemetery and the friends of the cemetery have
been trying to track down his family to help maintain the grave. There
are other names on the headstone, pictured in the newspaper, with the
surname Clark.
