Hi Sheila,

Baptism of Ellen BRYANT mother Harriet living at Bear Cottages Swan
Street, Kingsclere
spinster 24 October 1886.

There is no record in the Maintenance of Bastards, or Bastardy Bonds for
Harriet Bryant, I was hoping to find out who the father was for you, no
such luck.

Regards

Barbara Mallyon

Subject: [King] 1891 census

| Hello, I wonder if anyone has the 1891 census for Kingsclere and would
do a
| look-up for me. My husbands grandmother Ellen Bryant was born in 1886
in
| Kingsclere workhouse, mother Harriett Bryant, no mention of father on
birth
| certificate. Would it be possible to locate her in the 1891 census when
she would
| be 4/5 years old. A possible address would be Bear Cottages,
Kingsclere. Her
| mother Harriett married George Digweed in 1892 and they had another
family.
| As far as I can tell Ellen did not live with them and I am trying to
find
| where she was living in her early years. Thank you for your help.
Sheila
