Few moments grabbed!

Having looked at the postcard, I think that the date on the stamp is 1908/9, what do you think John?

I looked on the 1881 there is a Hilda Dolton just born to a Thomas Dolton from Whitehaven in Cumberland, they are at Eton College.
They are still there in 1891 and 1901 as well.
I wonder if this can be her? If this is the case then she is a DAlton, 'cos most of them are up there.

If it is her she would by that time be about 28/9.
I looked on Freebmd and there is a marriage for a Hilda Dalton in Marylebone in 1907, but that could be the Hilda Dolton born in St Olave in 1887!
The next nearest (in place) birth could be Hilda Blanche Dolton born in 1897 Reading, but would K.H. be sending a P.C. to Miss Dolton who is only 11/12?

I'd love to know who K.H. is!

I'd also like to be able to look at the 1910 census and see if she is still at York Road.

Regards,
Carol
Must go and do the neglected garden!
