Bracknell Family History Fair - Sunday 27th January 2008
Bracknell Sports Centre, Bagshot Road (A322), Bracknell, Berkshire

This is the largest family history fair next to "Who do you think you are"
at Olympia. Whether a complete beginner or an experienced researcher, there
will be something for everyone :-
270 stalls: including Family History Societies, Record Offices, The Society
of Genealogists, Specialist Groups, Postcards, Books, Computer Software,
Directories, Maps, Charts, etc.
Talks: In the Forest Suite Berkshire Family History Society will be
organising the following talks (£1)
10.30 Chad Hanna & Gillian Stevens - Starting Your Family History Using the
Internet
11.30 Jean Debney - Dating Old Photographs [Jean will be on the BerksFHS
stall in the Main Hall throughout the day to date your photographs]
12.30 Jeanne Bunting - Searching the Census
13.30 Peter Durrant (Berks Record Office Archivist) - Poor Law [pre 1834
Records]
14.30 David Chilton - Tracing Victorian Soldiers at TNA [David will be on
the BerksFHS stall in the Main Hall throughout the day to help with your
Army
research]
15.30 Peter Christian - The Future of the Internet for Family Historians
10am-5pm, £3 admission (accompanied children free)
