Dear Listers,

Is there anyone here who lives near the Winchester Record Office? and would be willing to next time they go there to take a look for my ancestor who I have been searching for, for years.

I'm looking for the birth or baptism details of a Joseph LEAL born c1786 at Fawley, Hampshire, parents unknown

Surname could also be spelt as LIEL, LILE, LEALE, LISLE.

Joseph gives Fawley as his birthplace on various census returns, he died in Bognor, Sussex in the 1860's.
