Thank you David for your response. I have just received got an email
letter from the Banstead History society that confirmed my East Meon and the
same family as the Banstead ones so I am on the right track,. they are going
to pass my enquiry onto to their historian. There appears to be Buckles all
over the place including a lot in Yorkshire
