True but the families aren't all nicely linked up as they are in a census.

While you may have no problem with the early release, other people might.

The next census is the 1921 which, in the unlikely event of the
petition's success, will be released hot on the heels of the 1901. My
parents are on that census. They wouldn't be at all amused at its
early release.

The 1931 was destroyed in the war. There was no 1941 census. So the
next one is the 1951 and I can wait for that. There was the 1939
National Registration but that wasn't a census so there isn't the
level of information in that that there is in a proper census but I
believe it is nevertheless still covered by the 100 year rule.
