Hi All,

I am trying to tear down a brick wall and could use some help, advice mostly. I have been looking for the marriage of Thomas POWELL and Mary Ann BRIDGE but have been unable to locate it. Both Thomas and Mary Ann were born about 1817/1818. Thomas in Bromyard and Mary Ann in Rowley Regis, Staffs. The only children I have been able to locate were born after 1850 in Oldbury, Worcestershire.

I think that both Thomas and Mary Ann had previous marriages as I was able to find a marriage for a Thomas POWELL and Mary Ann BALLARD in Birmingham at about the right time.

What I would like to know is this; 1) how far is Bromyard from Oldbury/Birmingham/West Bromwich area? 2) how many churches are there in Bromyard? I think Thomas may have been Methodist, but I'm not sure. And 3) is there anyone on this list who does lookups?
Also is there anyone on this list who is researching a POWELL line from the Bromyard area? If so, I'd love to hear from you!!
