I have a number of Perks from this area in my files
If any of these are of interest please let me know:
Augustus Perks born 1861 Malvern Link married Mary Jane Layton 1888
At least 3 children: George (1889), Edward(1891), Arthur(1893)
Joseph Woodyatt married Harriet Perks(chr 30 May 1847 Wellington d/oThomas
and Mary) 5 sep 1869 Bromyard and had 8 children.
Thomas Perks(chr 8 aug 1678Ledbury s/o Thomas and Margaret Perks) married
Priscilla Vobe 29 oct 1713 at Ledbury and had 3 children: Thomas(1714),
John (1718), and Francis(1720)
Elizabeth Perks(born abt 1708) married 11 sep 1729 Hereford All Saints to
Launcelot Carwardine and had 8 children (1731-1746) at Ledbury
Sarah Ann Perks(born 1868) married Edward Wormington 26 Mar 1889 at Selly
Oak,Worcestershire.
William Perks(born 1849 Colwall) married 1878 to Louisa Berrow(chr 1742 d/o
Samuel Berrow and Margaret Niblett)
Margaret Morton married ---Perkes and then Richard Halsey after Perkes
died.
By Perkes she had 4 children, Francis,Thomas,John & Margaret Perkes per will
of Francis Morton of Leigh will dated 28 jul 1697 and proved 12 aug 1714.
(Margaret was sister to Francis Morton)
