Hello list,
I've found a sad report of the death of my ggg aunt, Ann FUSEDALE, who was
found dead in the Regent's canal in Hoxton in June 1842. It was thought by
the coroner that she might have been 'enceinte' (i.e. pregnant) and it
appears that she was attached to a young gentleman who wa a student at the
Rev. Mr A. DONALD's establishment in St Albans where she had been a
domestic servant. She had previously lived in London Colney.
Does anyone have any information about the Rev. A. DONALD or his
establishment? Unfortunately the young man in question asked not to be
named at the inquest, although he offered to pay the funeral expenses.
