In 1865, Henry CREED was described as a Lieut.-Colonel, "of Bucknalls, near
Watford". His wife was Cecilia Aurelia, and they had (at least) two
daughters, Emily A. and Constance Georgiana, both of whom were born in
France (about 1818 and 1820 according to the 1881 census). He died at 21
Warrington Crescent, Maida Vale, on 3 Oct. 1877, his will being proved a
month later by his widow.

Can anyone, please, offer further biographical information about Henry
CREED, e.g. parentage, place/time of birth, marriage. Was he perhaps a
native of Hertfordshire?

Where was/is Bucknalls?
