Hello Listers,

I am new to this list & I am also quite new to genealogy. I thought there may be a chance that someone else on this list could be researching MASTERS or TANKARD.

I have traced them back to Watford in Hertfordshire & was hoping that someone maybe able to suggest where I could search for further records of my ancestors as I have hit a brick wall with them. I was also wondering if there are early census records available for Watford.

My ggg grandfather Martin Kedgwin MASTERS (I cannot find any information on him) married Ann TANKARD in 1794 at St George Hanover Sq London. Ann TANKARD was born abt 1766 in Watford, Hertfordshire & she died 11 Sept 1820 aged 54yrs in Watford.

Their children that I could find, were all born in Watford & I think they were christened at St Marys Watford.
Anne MASTERS b 30 Jul 1801
Martin Chamberlain MASTERS b 26 Sept 1805
William Miller MASTERS b 4 Oct 1807
Clara Elizabeth MASTERS b 21 Apr 1809

I would be most grateful for any assistance that anyone can offer.
