Could someone please help me. I am seeking information on a John Day b. c1788 Hertfordshire, England. Christened 5 Sept 1788 St Andrews Parish, Hertfordshire, died 5 July Albury, NSW, Australia.

He was convicted for larceny at Stafford Qtr Sessions, England on 14.01.1813 and sentenced to transportation to Australia for 7 years. He was transported on the "Baring" 08.09.1815 to Sydney, NSW, Australia.

I am seeking information on his trial, family and family "story" has it he and his two brothers fought in the Battle of Trafalgar. Being such a common name I do not know where to go next.
