Hi Anne, I think we have two separate families. My William was married to a
Jane (I believe, yet to be confirmed) and would hav been born around
1790-1800. My interest is in their son James bapt 1823 in Sacombe,Herts. I also
think William & Jane had George c 1830 & William c 1825 both in Sacombe.

Hello Ann,
I have a William Davis aged 70 living with Sarah Davis aged 67 and Ann
Harwood 25 who us their daughter in 1841. Ann has Sophia 5 and James 1 a
widow.
She married George Hollingsworth in 1843 as a Widow named Harwood and her
father' s name shown as William Davis. The family were actually living
next door
to Thomas Hollingsworth who was George's older brother.
George and Ann's youngest child Mary Ann was my great grandmother.
Do you think that this relates to your family?
