Hi all listers
Am a newbie to this list, researching the name GOODCHAP.
My g/g/uncle CHARLES AUGUSTUS GOODCHAP attended Huntingdon Grammar
School
prior to his arrival in Australia in 1853, aged 15. Does anyone have
knowledge of this school, and if so is it possible that records have
survived?
He eventually became a prominent politican in New South Wales as well as
one of the first Commisioners for Railways in that state, and I would
like to learn more of his early years.
