Hi All


Can anybody help me with my search for John Sharman and Elizabeth Ekins. I have a copy of a Bastardy Bond and an Examination for the parish of Great Staughton, Hunts, in which it is stated that John Sharman was the father of Elizabeth Ekins bastard child. The examination is dated 10/11/1815 and the Bastardy Bond 13/4/1816. Neither of these documents give much information about either of them, the only fact stated is that John Sharman is a farmer.


In the Parish Register for Great Staughton Elizabeth Ekins married Thomas Perrot 9/3/1818, I know it is the same Elizabeth as she signed both the Examination and the register. Other than that the only other possible clue I have is that I found a 1841 census record for a Thomas & Elizabeth Parrot in Colmworth, Bedfordshire, but they are not there in 1851.


I would like to find the origins of both these people so any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
