Hi Joan

I do not know of such a service for NWK but, the Journal of the NWKFHS lists
a whole range of people that provide very valuable look up services & may be
able to help, as well as the Overseas Co-ordination service and sections for
Offers of Help /Help Wanted.

If your query is not covered by these services then I find that, on most of
the mailing lists that I subscribe to, if you ask your specific question and
someone on the list can help, they will.

I for instance do not live in Kent but, as with most genealogists, have
accumulated all sorts of records and knowledge that is potentially useful to
others. Whilst not in the position to act in the volunteer capacity that you
describe, I am more than happy to respond to specific requests raised via
the Mailing List where I think that I have either the information or
relevant knowledge to help - I think that you will find that this applies
generally.

Why not try a specific question - you have nothing to lose

Regards
