I have noticed your interest in the Buffs

It so happens I have just been doing some research on the Queens Own Royal
West Kent Regiment. As you will know this is the "other" Kentish Regiment
that was merged with the Buffs in to form the Royal East Kent Regiment in
1961.

For those members who may be interested the history of the RWK Regiment,
this now defunct Regiment has been covered in three books by Lt Col H.D
Chaplin and includes all the references you mention. Unfortunately I cannot
offer the same service as yourself as I don't own these volumes. However
they are easily available through the Inter-Library Lending Service.

There is also a rather daunting 30 item bibliography available as well!
