I dont know if you already have this info but am posting it just in case you dont.

On the Commonwealth War Graves Commision site it says that JT Marsh, 3468 was killed on 25?December 1918.? He served in the !st Bn Lancashire Fusiliers and is buried in Hodge Crater Cemetery,?? Leper, West-Vlaanderen.? His grave reference number is XX. K. 1.

Have you tried looking in Bolton Library Archives?

Subject: [ENG-LAN-BOLTON] Deane War Memorials?

Hi all
I'm tracing the service history of my Great Uncle. 3468 Private JT Marsh of the
Lancashire Fusiliers. He was living on Nuttall Street in the Deane area of
Bolton with his wife Isabella (Brooks) in 1914. They were married at the
Saviours Church on 1912. Is this church in Deane and does it still exist?
John was killed in action on 29 Septmber 1918. Does anyone know if there are any
memorials in the local area on which he might be named?
