Hi Pamela,

Yes, there is a reference to the Derby Arms on page 42, it reads "Across the
road on the corner of Brown Street South was the Derby Arms, where Edmund
Seddon was the landlord in the 1880's". No picture, again. My book is
published by the Leigh Local History Society, publication No. 20. The inside front
cover states that Pubs of Leigh was first published in three parts 1982-1984
by Cyril Ward, Norma Ackers, Evelyn Finch. If you track these publications
down would you be kind enough to let me know. My sister lives in Leigh and I
could get her to buy them for me.
