Hi Matthew,

May I take you up on your kind offer to do look-ups in Newton in 1851
please?

I am hoping to find out whether William RIGBY is still alive. In 1841 he was
aged 57 and governor of Newton workhouse.

I would appreciate if you would also keep an eye open for his daughter and
her husband, I cannot track them down in 1851, but I don’t think they will
be there. Their names are Margaret Cunliffe and John Knight Cunliffe and
would be aged 26-28ish.
