There was some work done a few years ago on the individual watchmaking
families in the Prescot area. The information if held at Prescot
Watchmaking Museum, they have a website, sorry I cant remember the web
address.

I would be interested in a CDRom of the Prescot parish registers. The LDS
have microfilmed the St Mary Parish Church, Prescot register (even though it
isnt for viewing on the familysearch.org) The film can be hired to view at
any lds family history centre, I have looked at it myself. Some of the
register was in bad condition I think but it goes back to the 1600s.
