Hello Alan,

I don't mind, having a quick walk around St. John's Church, at Hurst for
you, it may be a couple of days before I reply but if this helps? Please let
me know, not too much out of my way to do this!

Do you know, which Mill he was the owner of? There are so many in this area.
There was a Mill a lovely building at Hurst, which burnt down in the last
couple of months. I was able to see this wonderful building before I moved
away from Hurst Cross, as it is known locally, 5 years ago, from my kitchen
window. It is such a shame, that it has disappeared from the landscape.
Also the original vicarage, has been demolished, which was in a similar
style to the Church and replace by a modern vicarage, this was within the
last 10 years.

Please let me know if this helps?

Regards

Lynne Cox
