Hi Listers

I have found a cousin buried in this cemetery on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site.

His name was Norman Sydney DEVEREUX-MACK, Bomb Aimer, in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, who died on 27 Jan 1943, aged 28 yrs.
It is said that his aeroplane, being ferried from one airfield to another, collided with a fully laden bomber and both crews were killed.

1. Can anyone tell me where I would be able to find out more about this tragedy? Where did it happen? Was it reported in the Newspapers of the day?

2. It is said that Norman's mother Geraldine May MACK is buried beside him. She died in 1960. If this is a War Cemetery would this be correct and would she have a separate headstone? Or would she be buried in a different part of the Cemetery to her son?

3. Is there any one who lives in Kirton -in -Lindsey or near by who would be willing to go and look for the graves of the above mentioned people and transcribe the headstones and take a photo of them for me.

Location of Norman Sydney DEVEREUX-MACK's grave is-
Block A, Grave 200.

Thankyou in advance for any help received
Best Wishes
