I have been trying to find a marriage for a number of years nowand any help
or pointers will be most welcome.
Charles Barty was born in Fosdyke in 1794.
He married Mary ? in 1815 - but where? The year is given by an inscription
on a clock that was apparantly a wedding gift. This clock is still with his
descendants
They had a son Charles, born at Sutterton, in 1833 but I have failed to find
his baptism in the Sutterton parish records.
The three state they were born in the county on the 1841 census but by
1851Mary had died. Unfortunately there are a number of "Mary Barty" deaths
in South East Lincs. during the 1840@s and 1850.
Charles senior died in 1871 at Skirbeck.
Has anyone come across the marriage?
