The RC Cathedral of Lpool is the Metropolitan "Cathedral of
Christ The King" built at the top St James Mount, Brownlow
Hill. It was consecrated in 1967 and is round in shape,
with a cone rising above like a huge crown. Due to it's
shape it was nick-named "Paddy's wigwam, or 'The Mersey
Funnel' by the locals:-)
