I found your Percival Drury on the Commonwealth War Graves and it

Panel Number: Pier and Face 1 D 8 B and 8 C

Location: The Thiepval Memorial will be found on the D73, off the
main Bapaume to Albert road (D929).

As you will see they were living in Wallasey.....maybe this is where
you grandmother was born and not in Liverpool. You also may have to
wait until the 1901 is released, especially if they weren't born
until 1900's.

As for the Dock Board workers, you could write to the Mersey Docks
and Harbour Company, (their headquarters are at The Royal Seaforth
Dock, Seaforth, Liverpool 21) you could write them and ask for
further information of past employees......
